Domestic Cricket Career
Ashwin made his first-class debut for Tamil Nadu in December 2006 against Hyderabad. He took six wickets in the match and helped his team win by an innings and 155 runs. He also captained the Tamil Nadu Under-22 team in the 2007-08 season and led them to the final of the CK Nayudu Trophy.
