Rohit Sharma-led unit are already out of the playoffs contention
Owing to their shambolic performance during the season, the Rohit Sharma-led unit are already out of the playoffs contention. They are now providing opportunities to those players who remained on the fringes for the better part of the competition.
“We have one more game after this, and we can try a few more guys in that game,” Rohit had said during the toss against SRH.
The likes of Ramandeep Singh, Kumar Kartikeya, Hrithik Shokeen and Mayank Markande were finally included in the playing XI for a few games. But, Arjun still finds himself warming the benches.
However, as the MI skipper Rohit Sharma indicated at including a few more youngsters in the XI for the final encounter, Arjun may finally get a taste of the IPL.
